How long does approval take?
In most cases approval can be made within 2 hours of receiving your application.
How will I know if my loan application has been approved?
An SRG Finance representative will call you on the contact number that you provide to inform you if your application was successful.
Once my loan has been approved, what happens then?
The relevant documents are drawn up and finalised either Electronically or Fax to 1300 318 388.
So the paperwork has been completed. How long does it take to get my money?
If the paperwork is completed and signed before 1500hrs (excluding weekends and public holidays) your money will be transferred into your bank account overnight via electronic funds transfer and made available for your withdraw the next working business day.
How does the Immediate Funds Transfer work?
For a small fee of $20.00 SRG Finance can electronically transfer your funds to your nominated bank account within 2 hours as long as your loan has been finalised before 1500 hours on any banking day.
This facility is not available to all accounts and your banking institution must be a member of the “Immediate Electronic Clearance Program”. Major Banks Only. No Credit Unions or Building Societies.

What if I want cash rather than have the money paid into my bank account?
SRG Finance employees do not hold cash nor do we hold cash at our premises. All monies lent are done via electronic funds transfer into your nominated bank account.
How are my loan repayments made?
All loan repayments are made via direct debit from your nominated bank account.
Can I make extra repayments on my loan?
Yes, extra repayments can be made with prior arrangements.
Can I make over the counter cash repayments?
No, SRG Finance does not accept repayments in the form of cash and can only accept payment in the form of a direct debit from your nominated bank account.
What happens if I can’t make a repayment?
You must contact us as soon as you know that the payment cannot be made so that alternative payment arrangements can be made.
How will I know when all my repayments have been made and the loan is paid out in full?
SRG Finance will provide you with a regular account statement on a 3 monthly basis and at the time of your loan payout will provide you with a letter confirming the payout of your loan.
What is the Minimum Requirement for Personal Loan?
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be able to provide 100 points of Identification
- Must be able to satisfy a credit check
- Must have lived at your current address for a minimum of 3 months
- Able to demonstrate a regular employment for a minimum of 3 months
- Wages/Salary must be paid directly into your bank account directly from your employer.
- Able to supply a minimum of 3 months of bank statements by way of email or fax.
- Overdrawn occurrences on your bank account in the last 3 months must be no more than two.
What is the difference between a Personal Loan and a Cash Advance?
A Cash Advance does not require a Credit Check and typically is repaid in 1 month (up to 62 days) where a Personal Loan does require a Credit Check and is repaid over a longer period.
How much can I borrow?
SRG Finance provides personal loans from $500 - $2000. The amount you can borrow is determined by your earning capacity and your ability make the repayments.
How long do I get to repay the loan?
Repayment terms are from 3 months – 6 months. The term is dependent on the amount borrowed. Call us on 1300 774 5626 to obtain further repayment information.
How long does it take for my loan to be approved?
Typically we allow 2 hours from the receipt of your information and bank statements. Sometimes this can take a little longer dependent on confirmation of your employment.
Why do I have to supply bank statements?
SRG Finance supports Responsible Lending Practices. Therefore when we assess your application we need the necessary information contained on your bank statement to ensure that you have the capacity to repay the loan without causing you undue financial hardship.
I do not have access to a scanner or camera to upload my Identification and Bank Statements via the Online Application Page.

What do I do if I don’t have a Drivers Licence or Medicare Card as ID?
We also accept ATM Cards, Utility Bills, Pension Cards, Credit Cards and Club Cards as forms of ID. If unsure call us on 1300 774 5626.
I am on a pension. How much can I borrow?
SRG Finance can supply finance to you if you are on a pension, however the limit is $500.00.
I am on a government benefit other than that of a pension. Can you supply me with finance?
Unfortunately we can only supply limited personal loans to pensioners. Any other benefit will not be considered.

The amount that you can borrow is determined by your income and your ability to repay the Cash Advance. Until all your information is supplied to SRG Finance we cannot give you an approved amount.
How long does it take to have my Cash Advance Approved?
Generally we allow up to 2 hours for approval; however in most cases approval is much quicker than this. Loan Approval is dependent on the confirmation of your employment with your employer. In certain cases we may have to wait until your payroll officer makes time to talk with one of our representatives. On occasion this may take longer than 2 hours.
Can I speed up the approval of my Cash Advance?
Yes. Contact your payroll officer before we call and let them know that we will be contacting them requesting confirmation of your employment, your address and bank details.
I am on Newstart or Youth Allowance. Can you assist me with a Cash Advance?
No. Unfortunately SRG Finance can only supply Cash Advance Loans to people on the Pension. Other forms of Social Security are not considered.
Do I need to have paid of my Cash Advance before I can get another?
Yes. SRG Finance supports Responsible Lending and does not allow rollovers.
How do I receive a SRG Cash Flash Visa Card?
SRG Cash Flash Visa Cards are available to Cash Advance customers. You will be issued a SRG Cash Flash Visa Card when you take out your SRG Cash Advance and have opted to receive the card.
What is the difference between a Visa Prepaid Card, a Visa Debit Card and a Credit Card?
Your SRG Cash Flash Visa card is a Visa Prepaid Card. A Visa Prepaid Card is preloaded with an amount of money for your use. Once this amount has been used it needs to have more funds added to the card. It is not linked to your bank account. A Debit Card is linked to your bank account and you can use whatever amount of money you have available in your bank account. A Credit Card is issued to you with an available limit with the ability to make minimum payments for the life of the card.
Why are SRG Cash Flash Visa Cards only available to Cash Advance customers?
Your SRG Cash Flash Visa Card does not allow for more than $999.99 to be preloaded onto the card. As most personal loans are for more than this amount we are unable to supply them to Personal Loan customers.
My Personal Loan is for less than $1000 can I have a SRG Cash Flash Visa Card?
If you make a special request to SRG Finance and your loan amount is less than $1000 we will be happy to issue you with a Card.
How do I receive my SRG Cash Flash Visa Card?
Through Australia Post to your current residential address.
How do I Validate my SRG Cash Flash Visa Card?

Are there other fees associated with the SRG Cash Flash Visa Card?
Yes. Some of these fees are not controlled by SRG Finance and we have tried our best to keep them low. Please refer to the Card Terms and Conditions for more information on the fees.
Can I use my SRG Cash Flash Visa Card in an ATM?
Yes. Available to withdraw cash from any participating ATM in Australia.
Can I use my SRG Cash Flash Visa Card to make purchases over the Internet?
Yes. Anywhere Visa is accepted and the merchant has chosen to accept the card.
Can I use my SRG Cash Flash Visa Card to make purchases through EFTPOS?
Yes as long as the merchant has agreed to accept Visa Prepaid Cards.
Can I get cash out via EFTPOS?
No. Cash can only be withdrawn from the card by way of an ATM.
Does my SRG Cash Flash Visa Card accept offline chargebacks?
No. The card can be used for electronic purposes only.
Once I have used the funds on the card can more funds be added?
Yes. You must keep your SRG Cash Flash Visa Card should you wish to take out any future loans with SRG Finance. New loan amounts will be added to your Card. Your card can be used more than once and you can also add your own funds to the card if you wish.
Can I add funds to my Visa Prepaid Card?
Yes. Through electronic funds transfer via “Pay-Anyone” on your internet banking.
What do I do if my card is Lost or Stolen?
You must contact SRG Finance immediately so we can place a stop on your card. A replacement card can be supplied for a small fee. Refer to the Card
Terms and Conditions.
What do I do if my card is damaged?
Contact SRG Finance to arrange a replacement card for a small fee, specified in the Card
Terms and Conditions.
What do I do if I suspect fraudulent activity on my card?
Contact SRG Finance immediately so we can place a stop on the card and issue you with a new card. SRG Finance will launch an investigation into the Fraudulent Activity and make a determination through the use of the ORION Card Fraud Management Program.
