SRG Financial Solutions is committed to compliance with the provisions and the most customer – favourable interpretation of those provisions, in the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

The fair and confidential management of information customers provide to us, in the course of our business dealings, is guaranteed.

SRG Financial Solutions assures customers that all information, provided by them, in association with Continuing Cash Advance Contracts / Credit Contracts, shall be used by SRG Financial Solutions only for the primary purposes of:

  • Assessing whether to make an offer and enter into a contract;
  • The administration of the loan; and
  • In the event of a breach or default, to facilitate collection of all outstanding money.

All customers seeking a Continuing Cash Advance / Credit Contracts will be given a detailed Privacy Protection of Information Declaration and Statement to read and sign, before entering into any contractual arrangement with SRG Financial Solutions.

SRG Financial Solutions adopts and endorses the National Privacy Principles:

  • We collect personal information only as is necessary for our business activities;
  • We do not use or disclose personal information for any purpose other than the primary purpose of collection of such information;
  • We do not seek, or keep information as to our customer’s political beliefs, religious persuasions, sexual activity and orientation a nd/or health;
  • We undertake all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information collected, used or disclosed, is accurate, complete and up to date. Customers are under a contractual obligation to be truthful and correct and to inform SRG Financial
    Solutions of any changes to information provided, which occur during the loan period;
  • We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, or loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We take reasonable steps to destroy, or permanently de – identify any personal information we no longer require;
  • Customers have continuing access to personal information about them which is held by SRG Financial Solutions. Incorrect or inaccurate information will always be corrected when we become aware that it is incorrect or inaccurate. On request, a customer will be provided with a copy of his/her/their application form;
  • SRG Financial Solutions does not adopt any identifier assigned by a Commonwealth Government agency;
  • SRG Financial Solutions acquires all customer information by lawful and fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way;
  • SRG Financial Solutions does not engage in speculative data collection;
  • SRG Financial Solutions does not make its customer lists available to third parties;
  • SRG Financial Solutions always prescribes, as part of its contracts with customers, exactly to whom any information may be provided and in what circumstances. Such being, usually, limited to SRG Financial Solutions personnel for loan processing and administration, and to authorised personnel working for appointed solicitors and/or debt collection agencies, in the event of a breach or default.
